The time machine
Concept: A pub that is also a time machine, complete with a bar tender (who is a hologram, and also apart of the machine/pub). It is based in London, inconspicuous to the general public and other earthly inhabitants. To allow our bodies to travel through the tunnels of time, along with the pub, we must consume alcohol. Depending on the drink we drink, it enables us to reach a certain point in time, but only in London (as that is where the pub has always been)
The first idea i had was to create a suit for the bar tender which had every equipment a bar tender would need. these are quick ideas developments.
with the suit helmet we wanted something with the same mechanism as the suit it self.
we wanted the helmet to be able to think for it self and the way it operates is almost organic in its movements. to look for inspiration, i started making drawings of bike helmets to get n idea of what i am looking for; then i moved one to creating something that was more unique and inventive.
